Job Details Job Location Carrollton Campus - Carrollton, TX Position Type Part Time Salary Range $18.00 Hourly Description Ministry Coordinator Student Ministry: Middle School Ministry, Part-Time, 20 Hours Per Week We exist to experience and share the love of Jesus. GENERAL DESCRIPTION The Ministry Coordinator works with the Middle School Pastor to lead and administer small groups and operational aspects of Middle School Ministry. This position executes the vision of the Middle School Ministry through providing programming, equipping, counseling, resource procurement and allocation, and task management. ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Highly relational and comfortable taking the initiative in the relationships needed with leaders, student and parents.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and able to learn new apps and programs as needed
Advanced knowledge of correct grammar, word usage, spelling, and punctuation
Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written, with a diverse group of people in a variety of situations
Demonstrated ability to take projects from ideas to execution, to maintain the big picture and drive the details
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks
Experience in coordinating, scheduling and equipping people and tasks
DUTIES
Partner with the Middle School Pastor to set the vision for small groups within Middle School Ministry and ensure that the Bent Tree vision, mission, and culture is maintained.
Partner with the Middle School Pastor to help identify, recruit, equip, and lead Small Group Leaders.
Provide shepherding, discipling, and counseling for Small Group Leaders, students, servants, and parents.
Help administrate the expansion of Middle School Ministry small groups.
Consistently monitor student assimilation within their small group and make changes accordingly.
Be present at all MSM events (Sunday mornings, 1st Wednesdays, Retreats, etc.)
Help plan and lead organizational aspects of Middle School Ministry operations by coordinating and scheduling resources including people, rooms, and tasks.
Plan and execute logistics including space requirements, set up, supplies, resources, and communication needs for Middle School Ministry.
Oversee and manage Middle School Ministry general communications including guest process, phone calls, emails, and follow up.
Perform other duties as necessary for the success of the Family Ministry and Bent Tree.

College Degree preferred
Education and/or Experience in Youth Ministry, Christian Education, or comparable experience
