• Oversee station operation to ensure FAA, customer and company guidelines are adhered to
• Maintain quality control of the station
• Maintain and track daily work activities
• Provide supervision and assignment of maintenance personnel at the station
• Able to communicate and resolve conflicts and discrepancies
• Must be able to exercise good judgment in a team environment
• Conduct shift meetings
• Administer disciplinary, performance and administrative documentation as required
• Create, promote and maintain a safe work environment in accordance with company and government regulations and guidelines
• Ability to complete paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
• Become familiar with and follow the requirements of the Repair Station Manual, Federal Aviation Regulations, airworthiness directives, advisory circulars, manufacturers' service bulletins and any other guidelines required to perform assigned work.
• Review assigned personnel maintenance qualifications and provide OJT when required
• Maintain an effective working relationship with subordinates and senior management
• Coach and evaluate technicians
• Promote urgency and the importance of the flight schedule and on-time departures
• Identify training requirements
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Follow all safety procedures and specifications
• Execute all required paperwork in connection with assigned duties
• Work with little or no supervision and accomplish assignments in an efficient manner
• Assist other employees in the performance of their job assignments
• Assist other departments when necessary
• Any other duties as assigned
