JET Technologies, a thriving plastics fabrication company located in Elkhart, IN, specializing in custom CNC machining, thermoforming, and assembly, is offering an enticing opportunity for a Costing Clerk. Overview:

The Data Entry position is responsible for prepping costing/quoting templates, adding and maintaining bills of materials, costs and prices in our operating system. This is a detail-oriented role that requires a high degree of accuracy.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Log new requests into our project management software.
• Using pre-made templates, you will copy/paste in a variety of required documents and save for the Costing team to finalize.
• Enter and or change data into our operating system for new product, or changes to existing product.

Characteristics and skills:

• Ability to communicate with leadership and peers with professionalism.
• Proficient data entry skills.
• General knowledge of Bills of Material / Costing is preferred.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently but also engage with multiple areas and other departments.
• Ability to problem solve.

Educational and other requirements:

• Three to five years data entry experience.
• Experience with IBM AS400 Operating Software is a plus.

Pay Rate and Opportunities to advance:

· $18.00 to $21.00 initial starting wage based on experience.

· Although this is an entry level position, there are opportunities for advancement within the department and company.
