**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Manager / Team Lead to join our team.

As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional customer service, supporting restaurant operations, and contributing to our mission of providing memorable dining experiences.

**Responsibilities**

- Assist with morning prep and front-of-house operations, including managing cash and credit transactions, handling customer complaints, and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

- Collaborate with restaurant management to support inventory control, manage restaurant supplies, and ensure seamless operations during peak periods.

- Participate in catering and special events, including coordinating logistics, setting up events, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality food and service.

- Maintain a clean and organized dining environment, adhering to health and safety standards.

- Assist with interviewing and hiring new team members, contributing to the growth and development of our team.

- Demonstrate a strong understanding of restaurant management and food production principles, supporting our chefs and kitchen staff as needed.

**Requirements**

- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment, preferably in a casual or fine dining setting.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage cash and interact with customers.

- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficiency in basic math and cash handling, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

- Ability to work in a dynamic and busy environment, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.

- Familiarity with restaurant management software and inventory control systems.

- Experience with interviewing and hiring is an asset.

- Willingness to learn and adapt to new roles and responsibilities as the restaurant grows and evolves.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.18 - $16.10 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 36 per week
