JetZero is developing a blended wing aircraft. It uses 50% less fuel and can accommodate zero-emission hydrogen propulsion. JetZero is the inevitable solution to sustainable air travel.

This is why we’re hiring ​a Sr. Simulation Engineer. You will be responsible for designing, architecting and running simulations for testing of aircraft systems in the Test Labs.

• Contribute to planning, developing and coordinating of important engineering projects.
• Provide specialized technical assistance to team members.
• Use advanced techniques and modified extension of theories to provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
• Determine and develop own approach to solutions within schedule and cost objectives.
• Work under limited supervision; work should only be required. to be reviewed for accuracy and consistency with meeting overall objectives.
• Act as liaison with representatives outside of the assigned group/area.

Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

8 years in an avionics development or test experience or 12 years broad engineering experience in several technical disciplines with Bachelors.

Experience credit considered for related advanced degrees limited to 2 years for Masters, 4 years for PhD in fields applicable to this job.

• Aircraft Avionics and/or Electronic Systems development and integration experience
• Experience with FAA (14 CFR Part 25) or EASA (CS-25) certification
• Development, integration, test, troubleshooting of electronic aircraft systems
• Functional testing and troubleshooting experience at aircraft or system integration lab
• Experience with requirements development, validation and verification tools
• Experience with managing supplier technical and deliverable tasks in an engineering environment
• Programming experience with Matlab/Simulink, C, C , and other widely used programming languages.
• Knowledge and understanding of data communications protocols including A429, A664, A825, A665, A717, FPGAs, LVDT/RVDT and RS4XX/232
