Job Description:

Jewett Automation is a fast growing, industrial automation and systems integration company seeking an aftermarket sales representative. This position works in a team to serve our customers with aftermarket parts support. There are daily challenges to identify customers' needs and achieving them in a fast-paced environment. This is an exempt position with base plus commission, The job is based in Richmond, Virginia.

The successful candidate will enjoy collaborative environments, demonstrate critical thinking, superior problem solving, a strong work ethic, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Build Jewett’s brand as a customer focused company, by proactively understanding customers aftermarket needs and delivering customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service and maintain relationships with existing and new customers.
• Making pricing recommendations and understand the competitive landscape.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure correct part offerings.
• Prepare quotes and follow up to meet monthly sales goals.
• Process warranty orders for customers.
• With procurement, work with suppliers to get Return Material Authorizations (RMA’s), credits and/or replacement parts.
• Work with accounting to ensure credits are applied to proper accounts.
• Coordinate with warehouse to ensure inventory is received.
• Track shipment for customers.
• Work with procurement to place orders for parts and equipment.
• Support development of suppliers to assure redundancy in the supplier base.
