Pay Rate: $44.48
GENERAL SCOPE: The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide speech, language, cognitive and swallowing evaluations and treatments to residents referred by physicians for the purpose of diagnosis, restoring function, maintaining function, and maximizing functional skills. The Speech-Language Pathologist will function as part of the multidisciplinary team, providing education and instruction to staff, residents and families as needed.
EDUCATION / QUALIFICATION: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. New York State license in Speech-Language Pathology. ASHA certification is preferred.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
EXPERIENCE: Completion of CFY. Experience working with the geriatric and/or adult population with neurological communication.
