Jewish Renaissance Medical Center is Hiring an Administrative Assistant/Marketing Coordinator Near Perth Amboy, NJ

Overview:

In this role you will provide assistance to the executive staff including board activities, publications, and special events planning, to create and maintain favorable public image for the non-profit organization. To be successful in this role, you should be well-organized, have great time management skills and be able to act without guidance. Ultimately, you will contribute to the efficiency of the organzation by providing personalized and timely support to executive members.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepares and distributes fact sheets, news releases, photographs, or scripts to media representatives and other persons who may be interested in learning about or publicizing organization's activities or services.
  • Represents non-profit organization during community projects and at public, social, and business gatherings.
  • Generates internal and external publications, including gathering data, writing articles, taking photographs, selecting graphics, designing format of publication, and determining distribution methods.
  • Plans, coordinates, and implements special events such as fund raisers, anniversary celebrations, health awareness functions, and health symposiums.
  • Assist in the coordination of special projects and events, office activities and committee meetings.
  • Maintains calendar, schedules appointments and meetings.
  • Filing all documents and keeping the files up to date.
  • Faxing and Scanning documents to various people.
  • Screening all phone calls for the Executive Office.
  • Uses various softwares applications, such as spreadsheets, word processing presentations, relational databases, statistical packages, and graphics programs to assemble, manipulate and/or format data and/or reports.
  • Type routine correspondence and reports.
  • Completes various request forms for office supplies and equipment as directed.
  • Developing Agendas, schedule meetings for CEO & COO/CFO.
  • Taking and preparing minutes for distribution for all administrative, departmental and staff meetings.
  • Making travel arrangements, handling expense and travel reimbursement requests.
  • Assist in assembling data and documents as required by grantor for grant application packets and provide digital copies to all parties of correspondence and grant packets.
  • Keep up to date the Grant Docs files.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changes readily.
  • Ability to follow instructions, given either orally or in writing.
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision.
  • Demonstrate effective follow-through with all tasks.
  • Discretion and confidentiality.
  • Ability to complete assignment in a timely manner.
  • Working knowledge of CJMC policies and procedures.
  • Able to work as a team player.
