JOB SUMMARY:
The Safety Manager is responsible for instilling and promoting JHL’s Culture of Safety and the champion and leader in all aspects of safety management. An integral part of this is conducting dynamic and relevant safety training and safety mentoring to all levels of personnel in the organization. Training includes classroom-based training, hands on operated training, and field-based hazard analysis training. The Safety Manager’s role within JHL requires someone that can be a partner and a mentor for all levels of JHL personnel in Safety. Ultimately the Safety Manager is responsible for all Safety Programs, however empowering all personnel to own Safety all the time every day and to Do the Right Thing – ALWAYS is the ultimate benchmark of success.

TRAVEL:
Business travel is required, must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel statewide.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Project Office / Corporate Office: Up to 25%, of time will be spent in an office environment fulfilling the core job duties.
Field: Up to 75% of the time providing field support to crews. Exposure to high altitude, hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions caused by the weather: rain, heat, and loud noises.
