Job Summary:
The Service Technician at Jim Norton T - Town Chevrolet in Tulsa, Oklahoma is responsible for performing skilled labor and technical support in all aspects of automotive maintenance and repairs. This individual contributor role is a full-time, salaried position in the auto industry and requires a skilled and knowledgeable individual who is dedicated to providing top-quality service to our customers. The Service Technician will work as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $120,000 per year, paid semi-monthly. Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and tune-ups.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
• Repair and replace parts such as brakes, belts, and hoses.
• Perform advanced diagnostic tests using specialized equipment.
• Keep accurate records of services performed and parts used.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers about vehicle repairs.
• Adhere to company safety protocols and guidelines.
• Continuously update knowledge and skills through training and development opportunities.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as an automotive technician or in a similar role.
• Strong working knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Must be able to lift and move heavy objects.
