Jim Shorkey Kia is searching for a top-notch Used Car Technician to join our growing team! As a valued member of our service department, you'll play a key role in ensuring our pre-owned Kia inventory runs smoothly and safely for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of complex mechanical and electrical issues on vehicles
- Perform preventative maintenance services like oil changes, brake inspections, and filter replacements with efficiency and precision
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to pinpoint problems accurately and efficiently
- Ensure all repairs meet Kia's strict quality and safety standards, the first time, every time
- Train and mentor less experienced technicians (optional, depending on the role)
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers

Requirements:
- Previous experience working on Kia vehicles is a plus
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working on vehicles
- Extensive experience with other automotive makes and models is a strong plus
- Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex automotive problems
- A valid PA state driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent customer service skills
- Commitment to quality and efficiency
