Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by preparing and serving beverages in a timely and efficient manner. Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take their orders promptly and accurately
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all supplies are stocked
- Provide recommendations on drink selections based on customer preferences
- Handle cash transactions using the cash register and process payments accurately
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders for catering events
- Maintain knowledge of current menu offerings, promotions, and special events
- Follow proper procedures for opening and closing the bar
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role is preferred
- Proficient in operating cash registers and handling cash transactions
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, drink recipes, and beverage presentation
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service during peak hours
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Basic understanding of retail math for calculating bills and making change
