Job Title: General Manager - Cannabis Extraction Lab

Position Summary: As the General Manager of our cannabis extraction lab, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our facility's operations, including production, sales, packaging, and administration. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong understanding of the cannabis industry, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to drive business growth while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

· Operational Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to ensure the efficient and compliant operation of the cannabis extraction lab.

· Team Management: Supervise and inspire a cross-functional team, including production staff, sales representatives, packaging teams, and administrative personnel.

· Sales and Business Development: Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies, build client relationships, and drive revenue growth.

· Production Oversight: Manage the production process, ensuring the consistent quality of cannabis extracts while optimizing production efficiency.

· Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about state and federal regulations, and ensure the lab operates in full compliance with all applicable laws and standards.

· Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for operational improvements to enhance profitability.

· Quality Control: Implement and oversee quality control measures to maintain product excellence and meet industry standards.

· Packaging and Distribution: Oversee the packaging process and coordinate with distribution partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.

· Collaboration: Foster collaboration and effective communication among different departments to enhance overall operational efficiency.

· Reporting: Provide regular reports to the executive team on key performance indicators, challenges, and opportunities.

Qualifications:

· Proven experience in a leadership role within the cannabis industry, preferably in extraction operations.

· Strong understanding of cannabis extraction processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.

· Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.

· Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business objectives.

· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.

· Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis.

· Familiarity with state and federal cannabis regulations.

· Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business, science, engineering, etc.) is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
