The projects could be new product development projects, business initiatives, or capital investment projects.
The Senior Program manager will manage, control, monitor and maintain cost, schedule and performance requirements and objectives following the Global Product Development policies and processes for the projects assinged.
Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesTakes guidance and work direction from Manager. Coordinate and manage the resources of the Corporation, Global Product Development, Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain, Test & Development, Quality, IT, Training, and others to accomplish program objectives. Create and maintain project documentation for project planning, requirements analysis, risk management, issues management, status reporting, project communication, and quality assurance. Plans and directs large projects/programs to completion, including development and maintenance of an integrated master schedule. Track, analyze and review reports to ensure that costs, schedule, scope,and performance of programs are under control and properly managed. Provide guidance to team members to ensure the project management processes are followed and projects are on track. Coordinate and manage internal and external resources to accomplish program objectives, including change management. Coordinate communication with suppliers, customers, and members of Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Assembly, Service, Testing, Quality Control, and Marketing departments as needed. Prepare and present program status/issues to internal and external customers. Accepts and delegates authority, establishes priorities for work delegated to others as necessary to lead projects to completion. - Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or related field
- PMP Certification
- Minimum 8 years related project management experience
- Master’s degree in Project Management or related field
- Previous Lean & Six Sigma experience
