JLK Health Systems provides structured, comprehensive, behavioral health treatment programs in Las Vegas Nevada helping people and families who suffer from moderate to sever mental health conditions. The purpose of the Clinical LCSW position at JLK Health Systems is to perform individual and group counseling, supervision, crisis intervention, and consultation/outreach to SMI and SED clients.
Role Description
This is a contract hybrid role for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker located in Las Vegas, NV, with flexibility for some remote work. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will be responsible for providing mental health and behavioral health services to patients. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will also be responsible for coordinating with healthcare providers, conducting assessments, creating care plans, and providing crisis intervention.
Qualifications
Position Requirements:
- Must be able to practice in the state of Nevada as a LCSW.
- Background clearance including fingerprinting, CPR and TB check.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to clients on a regularly scheduled basis or through crisis intervention stabilization.
- Complete all required clinical documentation via electronic recordkeeping system within the same day.
- Attend group and individual supervision meetings on a weekly basis, in a prompt manner, and with an openness to learning and receiving feedback.
- Interact with all staff and clients in a professional and ethical manner.
- Perform additional job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge and basic skills in counseling practices and methods.
- Ability to plan, implement, evaluate, and report activities conducted.
- Strong written and electronic communication skills.
- Effective oral communication skills, both in person and by telephone.
- Ability to establish rapport with others for healthy and therapeutic relationships.
- Present oneself in an appropriately personable and professional manner to clients.
- Openness to receiving and utilizing constructive feedback regarding performance, presentation, and relationships with others.
- Ability to effectively weigh and evaluate personal needs, client needs, and the aims and policies of JLK Health systems , and respond and negotiate these competing needs as appropriate.
- Remain calm, supportive, and professional in psychological emergencies and crises.
- Demonstrated self-awareness in relation to others and ability to modulate personal style as conditions warrant.
- Knowledge of professional ethical standards and a commitment to keeping and working within these standards.
