JLL is Hiring a Facility Repair and Maintenance Project Lead Near West Greenwich, RI

What this job involves - The Facility Repair and Maintenance Project Lead is responsible for overseeing and coordinating small-scale repair and maintenance projects at a pharmaceutical GMP facility. This role includes managing site asset condition reporting, obtaining quotes from vendors, and providing proposals to clients. The Small Cap Repair and Maintenance Project Leader plays a vital role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance operations while meeting client requirements and maintaining compliance with GMP guidelines.
What is the day to day?Maintenance/Repair Project Coordination:
  • Plan, schedule, and execute small-scale repair and maintenance projects at the facility.
  • Ensure projects are completed within allocated budget, timeline, and specified quality standards.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to identify project requirements, define scope, and allocate necessary resources.
Site Asset Condition Reporting:
  • Conduct regular inspections of facility assets to assess their condition and identify maintenance needs.
  • Update asset condition reports, noting any deficiencies, damages, or safety concerns.
  • Prioritize maintenance tasks based on the condition reports and collaborate with the team to address issues promptly.
Vendor Management:
  • Identify and engage with vendors, contractors, and suppliers for small repair and maintenance projects.
  • Obtain quotes and proposals from vendors, ensuring competitive pricing and adherence to project requirements.
  • Analyze and compare quotes to make informed decisions on vendor selection.
  • Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service level agreements with vendors, ensuring favorable terms for the facility.
Proposal Development:
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to understand small repair and maintenance project requirements.
  • Develop detailed proposals outlining project scope, deliverables, timelines, and cost estimates.
  • Ensure proposals align with client objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Present proposals to clients, addressing any questions or concerns and adjusting them as needed.
Client Relationship Management:
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, understanding their small repair and maintenance needs and priorities.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress, costs, and any potential deviations from the agreed-upon scope.
  • Address client concerns promptly and professionally, offering solutions and ensuring client satisfaction.
Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensure all repair and maintenance projects adhere to GMP guidelines, regulatory standards, and company policies.
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety protocols and ensure they are followed by the project team and vendors.
RequiredDesired experience and technical skills -
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering, facilities management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing small repair and maintenance projects, preferably within a GMP pharmaceutical facility.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles and techniques.
  • Familiarity with asset condition reporting and maintenance prioritization.
  • Experience in vendor management, including obtaining quotes, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships.
  • Strong skills in developing comprehensive proposals and effectively communicating them to clients.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills for engaging with vendors and clients.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
  • Knowledge of GMP guidelines and regulatory compliance within a pharmaceutical facility.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
