JLL is Hiring a Global Head of Finance Performance Management Near Chicago, IL

Global Head of Performance ManagementWe are looking for a Global Head of Performance Management to join our global Finance function.The Global Head of Performance Management is responsible for measuring and helping improve efficiency of JLL incentive plans. The role will work closely with the JLL Reward team in analyzing, forecasting, administering, and developing incentive programs that align with the Company’s long-term financial and non-financial objectives. As a senior member of the Global FP&A team, this individual will serve as the primary Finance point of contact on all matters relating to the financial considerations of the Company’s incentive programs including, but not limited to, annual bonus plans, forgivable loans, commissions, retention awards, equity awards, deferred compensation, etc.
Specifically, this individual will be responsible for the following:
Financial Analysis & Forecasting
  • Identify, measure, and report on key performance metrics to measure effectiveness of the incentive plans such as ROI on forgivable loans and other such economic instruments
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of financial models to forecast incentive program payouts in varying performance scenarios
  • Contribute to enterprise and segment level forecasting by providing compensation-related inputs based upon current business performance and forecasted market conditions
  • Establish affordability metrics to ensure compensation program spend aligns with JLL’s long-term financial targets and requisite margins
  • Partner with the Rewards team to design new incentive plan; build consistent and scalable framework to assess financial impact to guide new plan designs
  • Establish standardized approach for assessing new incentive plans to ensure consistent evaluation and assessment of benefits and risks
  • Own the preparation of the requisite financial analysis and materials for executive review and approvals with close cooperation with segment level finance teams
  • Track compensation ratios across business lines, regions, and countries and ensure spend is appropriate relative to prevailing market practices
Incentive Plan Governance and Financial Administration
  • Create and maintain inventory of all incentive programs including employee population, spend at target performance, financial drivers, plan mechanics, min/max payouts, etc.
  • In partnership with Reward, establish guardrails/design parameters for bonus programs, forgivable loans, and other plan structures where appropriate
  • Assist in establishing financial targets where applicable on an annual basis and update such targets as necessary to account for in-year allocation changes
  • Assist in defining financial metrics to be utilized in incentive programs
  • Review and sign off on all new forgivable loan requests prior to dissemination to the Global CFO
Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as primary liaison between Reward and Finance
  • Establish credibility with business leaders and act as a trusted financial resource

  • Ability to lead complex projects (including with non-direct reports) and manage expectations of multiple constituents
  • Ability to develop and manage high-performing teams and mentor others
  • Creative problem solver and adaptive to technological advancements
  • High levels of organisation and ability to perform under pressure, maintaining a clear head to present and provide considered advice under tight deadlines
  • 15 years experience in finance or business analysis with progressively increasing responsibilities
  • Undergraduate degree, MBA preferred
