JLL is Hiring a Maintenance Mechanic Near Salt Lake, UT
Hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (Monday-Friday)
Pay: $21.00-$27.00
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Maintain lighting systems bulbs and ballasts
- Install carpet flooring systems
- Clean HVAC coils, change filters and belts
- Maintain and repair locks, locking mechanisms, closers, doors, and furniture.
- Maintain and complete documentation for fire extinguishers and other building systems.
- Maintain and repair plumbing components including toilets, urinals, lavatories, flush valves, sinks, drains, water heaters, piping, and sump pumps.
- Prepare, prime and paint building interior and exterior surfaces and perform general handyman tasks to maintain buildings.
- Completes special tasks that include but are not limited to; painting, locksmith work, tenant services requests, and general maintenance as assigned.
- Prioritizes all PM’s, corrective and emergent work orders for the site (annual, monthly, weekly, and daily).
- Update work order status in real time, utilizing Corrigo system.
- Escalating problems or issues to Customer and Manager in a timely manner.
- This position requires the employee to be on call for after-hours emergencies.
- Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas.
- Maintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.
- Complies with all policies for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment. Documents work performance and materials procurement as directed.
- Other assigned operational tasks as may be typically expected of the Maintenance Mechanic role.
- This position requires the employee to be on call for after-hours emergencies.
- BAS experience
- Preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with hand tools and power tools.
- Proficient in basic computer application software such as MS Office, Outlook, CMMS Corrigio, etc.
- 1 year of related experience and/or training in the areas of carpentry, electrical, and plumbing. (Preferred)
