Veterinary Clinic Medical Director, DVM

We are searching for an experienced and highly skilled Veterinarian who is ready to take their career to the next level. Our ideal candidate will feel confident making independent decisions, enjoy the challenges and successes of working in the veterinary field, thrive in a fast-paced environment, have excellent communication and people skills, will be comfortable ensuring our medical standards and quality of care while leading and mentoring our veterinary team and is looking to work with a group of the best of the best in our field. This candidate understands that essential skills for working with our team and our clients are compassion, empathy, self-care, and employing healthy boundaries for themselves and their team.

Generous sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 for the right individual, in addition to a production-based incentive program. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor our growing team of professionals to deliver compassionate, individualized care to pets and clients with a focus on creating a positive experience for each animal.
• Diagnose and treat pets with illnesses and injuries
• Administer core vaccinations and counsel clients in preventative and well-pet care.
• Perform soft tissue surgery and dentistry.
• Contribute to making our workplace enjoyable for staff, clients, and pets.
• Work directly with leadership to identify and strategize growth opportunities while being the boots on the ground to protect our team and our clients
• The Medical Director shares in the operational and financial goals of the practice and will be the immediate supervisor of the Veterinarians.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree with 3 years of experience.
• Licensure in good standing in the state of Massachusetts or ability to get licensure in MA.
