JMAC Plumbing and Air Conditioning is looking to hire a full-time Project Manager/Estimator for Residential/Multi-Family Air ConditioningOverviewUtilizing documented project management processes, applicable forms, and attachments, the Project Manager is responsible for the overall management of the construction project life cycle including all activities from initial contract to execution through final invoicing and project post-construction activities. The estimator will prepare Air Conditioning estimates and takeoffs for residential single-family track homes, multi-family apartment units, and Custom Homes. Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, material, and labor estimates.
Education And ExperienceMinimum 5 years Project Manager/Estimation experience in the Residential/multi-family construction industry.
Experience managing Single Family Residential, Multi-Family, and Custom Homes for Air Conditioning construction projects.
Experience solely managing multiple construction projects of various sizes required.
Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesAbility to accurately interpret contracts, and builder’s options.
Ability to interpret all trade specifications and plans.
Construction process knowledge
Knowledge of construction methods and local permit practices
Ability to multi-task (multiple projects simultaneously)
Communicate with the client, gather all necessary data, and analyze all information to assemble a complete project cost estimate.
Ability to represent and market JMAC in a professional manner.
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
Great organization and time management skills.
Software proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Quote Soft, Computer Ease a plus
