We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Community Manager to oversee our community programs and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work, volunteer management, and education, with a passion for empowering students and fostering a supportive community. This role is responsible for managing and developing community outreach programs, managing a team of volunteers, and creating opportunities for students to engage with their peers and the community.
Duties
- Develop and implement community outreach programs that align with the organization's mission and goals.
- Recruit and manage a team of volunteers to assist with program execution.
- Collaborate with program staff to create opportunities for students to engage with their peers and the community.
- Identify and engage with community partners to expand the organization's reach and impact.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of community programs and make adjustments as needed.
- Manage budgets and allocate resources to support community initiatives.
- Foster a positive and inclusive community environment that promotes diversity and equity.
Experience
- Proven experience in community outreach, volunteer management, and social work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, volunteers, and community partners.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve organizational goals.
- Experience with budgeting and resource allocation.
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Education, or a related field.
- Experience with community development and resource management is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
