JMC Aviation have an exciting opportunity for Aircraft Engine Technicians to work with a global leader in the aviation industry based in Wichita, KS.

This would be a temp-to-perm position with a competitive hourly rate, signing bonus and great benefits. Duties within the role are as follows:

– Perform periodic inspections of engines and aircraft, for example, Thrust Reversers (TR), Major Periodic Inspection (MPI), Hot Section Inspection (HSI) in accordance with appropriate maintenance manuals.

– Perform removal, installation, and replacement of engines, accessories.

– Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble aircraft engines.

– Assist Aviation Maintenance Technicians in the operation of ground support equipment (GSE), for example, ground power units, tugs, hydraulic mules, and oxygen servicing units.

A successful Engine Technician would have the following –

– Valid A&P License

– 3 years experience in Aircraft Turbine Engine Maintenance

– Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and repair manuals.
