Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform all tasks associated with an electrical journeyman/foreman, including conduit installation (above and below ground), trenching, cable pulling, terminations, and grounding.
  • Execute power upgrades and generator installations without assistance.
  • Utilize and maintain hand tools and mechanical equipment effectively.
  • Install, connect, and test underground and above-ground grounding systems.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings, site plans, and drawings; perform redlines as needed.
  • Complete all on-site closeout package photo requirements.
  • Manage truck and tool inventory, ensuring overall job site cleanliness.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external partners.
  • Follow instructions accurately and complete projects in a timely manner.
  • Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company safety policies.
  • Ability to travel throughout Northern California and work in various weather conditions.

Additional Responsibilities for Journeyman/Foreman Role:

  • Lead and supervise a team of electricians, ensuring efficient workflow and project completion.
  • Plan and schedule project tasks, ensuring optimal resource allocation and adherence to timelines.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior electricians and apprentices.
  • Coordinate with project managers and other staff to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues or delays promptly.
  • Ensure proper documentation and reporting of project activities, including daily logs and work orders.
  • Maintain a high standard of workmanship and quality control on all projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid Electrical Journeyman License or equivalent.
  • Minimum of [3] years of experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • OSHA Construction 30 Hour Safety Certification preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (Company Vehicle Provided Upon Successful Employment/On-boarding).
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, enter crawl spaces, attics (confined spaces). Ability to work on scaffolding or MEWP's (Mobile Elevating Work Platforms).

Experience:

Commercial / Residential Electrical:

  • Extensive experience in electrical systems installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for both commercial and residential projects.
  • Proven ability to work on a variety of projects including new constructions, remodels, and upgrades.
  • Familiarity with local and national electrical codes and standards.

Minimum of 3 Years Electrical Experience:

  • At least three years of hands-on experience in the electrical field, demonstrating a solid understanding of electrical principles and practices.
  • Experience in working independently and as part of a team to complete electrical projects efficiently and effectively.

Pay Frequency:

  • Bi weekly or Twice monthly
