The Clinical Records Technician works closely with the supervisor and other members of the Records team to ensure an accurate and timely response relating to the initiation of clinical records, scanning of clinical information, records maintenance and retrieval, records retention and destruction, requests for release of clinical information, and other duties involved in maintaining clinical information in the JMHC Records Room. All clinical records responsibilities are performed in compliance with relevant statutes, standards, policies and procedures relating to the confidentiality of mental health and SUD treatment records. The Clinical Records Technician reports directly to the Clinical Records Supervisor with overall program supervision provided by the Director.
