Visit our website at Position summary: Responsible for performing all phases of architectural work from conceptual design through construction administration.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
- Independently apply advanced architectural concepts and designs
- Responsible for specific technical design aspects of an assigned major project, including investigation, evaluation and recommendation of design solutions that best meets the client’s needs
- Utilize computer-assisted design software and equipment to prepare project designs and plans – specifically CAD, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit
- Ensure quality control reviews throughout project completion
- Provide professional architectural consultation in the planning, design and coordination of large complex projects
- Carry out complex or novel assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures
- May provide technical guidance to less experienced architects/architectural staff
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Bachelors of Science In Architecture or Bachelors of Architecture
- 6 years of experience
- Experience with computer-assisted design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch-Up
- Masters of Architecture
- LEED AP accreditation preferred
- Experience in Housing, Senior Housing, Higher education, transportation and community architecture preferred
