JN Group Inc.is currently hiring for Service Lot Technicians at out JN Chevrolet location. The Service Lot Technician provides support to the Service Department by moving and cleaning vehicles, assists with maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the Service Department and helps the department managers as requested.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Must always be accountable of errors and actions.
• Responsible for moving vehicles into the proper locations throughout the Sales Department, Warehouse and Dealership.
• Provide direct “hands-on” assistance and support to the Service Manager and any designated employee to enhance the efficiency and flow of work to the Service Department.
• Provides assistance to the Business Office, including runs to the Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV), bank and Satellite City Hall.
• Provide assistance and support to the Service Department in the maintenance of the Service Department, to include such additional duties as cleaning and assisting in the organization of the Service Department.
• Support and maintain a high degree of accuracy, completeness, and timeliness for the ServiceDepartment.
• Responsible for making sure that all vehicles assigned are washed before the customer picks it up.

• Provide assistance with special events set-up.
• Always maintain a safe environment; there will be no running in the shop.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent.
• Must have a current driver’s license and an acceptable motor vehicle abstract.
• Must be able to drive manual transmission vehicles.
• One (1) year experience as a Lot Technician or Driver preferred, but not required.
