- Upon referral, performs an evaluation to determine the problems and goals of the patient in collaboration with the patient and physician.
- Develops a treatment program based on initial evaluation to achieve needs and goals and makes appropriate changes in treatment program according to patient’s performance.
- Administers, schedules, and supervises direct patient care utilizing appropriate physical therapy techniques.
- Compliance with applicable health laws and regulations, including but not limited to those relating to COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations.
- Previous experience in a Long Term Care Facility preferred
- Valid physical therapy license or eligibility for license in the state(s) where services are rendered.
- Comply with federal and state physical therapy regulations.
- Ability to speak, read and write English.
- Must be able to move intermittently throughout the work day.
- Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
- Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthesis that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met
- Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability.
- Must be able to lift and move residents, equipment, supplies, etc. in excess of fifty (50) pounds.
