Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a**Inventory Coordinator**in Spartanburg. Our client is afragrance production company. An employee in an Inventory Coordinator position must possess critical thinking skills and be able to manage multiple tasks. An Inventory Coordinator is expected to manage the movement of all raw materials being received and/or ordered and delivered to the production department. Advanced computer skills, especially experience with Excel or Warehouse Management Systems is encouraged. Must be able to work within strong smelling warehouse.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF A INVENTORY COORDINATOR INCLUDES:

• Supervise and accurately account for all items received.
• Efficiently and accurately key receipts of POs
• Evaluate all incoming raw materials based on approved quality standards
• Ensure items flow through Receiving Staging area in timely manner.
• Perform inventory adjustments and update the same in database.
• Analyze and troubleshoot inventory control problems in a timely fashion.
• Prioritize and perform daily workload assigned by Supervisor.
• Provide direction and assistance to colleagues as needed.
• Maintain inventory reports according to standard documentation and archiving procedures.
• Utilize word processing applications and spreadsheets for inventory control documentation.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area and warehouse
• Assist with reorganization of warehouse and pulling DS and Outdated Items from Inventory
• Order the needed materials for scheduled workorders ensuring that they are delivered in time for use on the production line(s).
• Accurately and efficiently key finished good workorders
• Prepare all necessary pallet paperwork used for locating and tracking pallets of finished goods.
• Perform cycle counts when inventory discrepancies are found and communicate the issue with LC, SCM and ICM.
• Pull/deliver Raw Material Requests
• Performing all other tasks that are assigned by the supervisor

JOB REQUIREMENTS OF AN INVENTORY COORDINATOR:

• Ability to operate material handling equipment, following all safety rules and regulations
• Ability to safely lift and move 10-15 lbs. often. Occasional lifting from 20-29 lbs
• Must be able to follow specific instructions correctly and record information accurately
• Ensure a safe working environment, following safety procedures
• Report any incident, accident or unsafe condition immediately
• Must be able to communicate well in a positive manner
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, being on your feet for long periods of time if needed.
• Ensure established housekeeping standards are met in work area
• Must be flexible in terms of duties, overtime, etc…
