Location: Dothan, AL

Introduction: we are a leading provider of integrated building solutions dedicated to enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of facilities through innovative technology and skilled service. We are currently seeking a skilled Controls Technician who is proficient in Honeywell or Schneider Electric control systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both IT and mechanical systems, with a certification or demonstrable experience in Tridium N4.
Key Responsibilities
  • Installed, maintain and troubleshot Honeywell and Schneider Electric control systems used in HVAC, lighting, and metering within commercial settings.
  • Program and configure controllers and systems to optimize building operations and energy efficiency.
  • Collaborate with IT departments to ensure integration of network-based control systems.
  • Perform diagnostic checks and repairs on mechanical systems to ensure proper interaction with control systems.
  • Update and modify existing systems to meet new requirements and to leverage technological advancements.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers and internal teams.
  • Document processes and maintain records of systems performance, including troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for emergency repairs and maintenance.
Qualifications: Required Qualifications:
  • Associates degree in Engineering Technology (not required, HVAC, IT, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience working with Honeywell or Schneider Electric controls or another Tridium N4 product line.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems related to HVAC and building controls.
  • Proficiency in IT-related tasks, including network configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Certified or experienced in Tridium N4; N4 certification strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in a related field.
  • Experience in a supervisory or a lead technician role.
  • Additional certifications in building automation or energy management.
