Job Description
  • Ensure accommodations for individuals are in accordance with the Rehab Act of 1973 as amended, the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act (ADAAA), and guidance from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
  • Provide consultant services and/or programs in areas of reasonable accommodation. Assignments are varied and complex, covering a broad range of reasonable accommodation issues and require in-depth analysis.
  • Use technical skill to develop the overall plans, procedures, and operating methods for assignments.
    • Propose and implement alternative solutions to problems or issues of a unique or precedent-setting nature.
  • Develop comprehensive reports regarding reasonable accommodation requests.
    • These reports will encompass the number of cases processed, the types of accommodations requested/provided, the organization of the request, and any costs associated with the accommodation.
  • Provide advisory services to management on reasonable accommodation requests per guidance and applicable laws governing reasonable accommodation/disability employment. 
Job Requirements
  • Provide support for HR programs and have a minimum of four (4) years of experience performing reasonable accommodation duties.

  • Knowledge of the Rehab Act of 1973 as amended, the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act (ADAAA), and guidance from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). 

  • Experience providing consultant services in the area of reasonable accommodation. 

  • Must have technical skills to develop overall plans, procedures, and operating methods for assignments.
