Jobeelink is partnering with a renowned Architecture and Planning company in St. Louis, Missouri to identify a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with mechanical engineering, including Building type HVAC work / Plumbing Design, computer-aided design (CAD), project management, and research and development (R&D) with expected regular travel to additional offices as needed.
Responsibilities
- Design of multiple HVAC system types, packaged rooftop units, air handlers, plumbing and piping
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Will be responsible for producing Design Development and Construction Documents.
- Process RFI’s, shop drawings, and submittals.
- Attend client meetings and conference calls.
- Coordinate projects/drawings with consultants (both in and out of house).
- Conduct existing condition site surveys.
- Ability to travel.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5-7 years of experience designing HVAC and Plumbing systems for buildings.
- PE License preferred
- Must have AutoCAD experience
- Familiar with automated software such as Carrier’s Hourly Analysis Program (HAP) or Trane Air Conditioning Economics (Trace).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have strong technical and problem-solving skills.
