Accounting Manager
Up to $90,000 to start plus full benefits and bonus potential
JobGiraffe's client is a distributor of flooring and roofing materials.
As Accounting Manager, you will:
- Supervise two Accounting Assistants
- Provide leadership, guidance and direction
- Allocate labor according to business needs
- Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes
- Process payroll for approximately 20 employees
- Monitor and track expenses
- Facilitate month-end close and year-end close processes
- Conduct inventory reconciliations
- Reconcile all General Ledger Accounts
- Prepare monthly financial statements
- Administer job costing processes
- Collaborate with a third-party accounting firm for year-end taxes and statements
- Run a variety of routine and special reports
- Conduct routine, special and ad hoc analysis
- Contribute to strategic planning, continuous improvement and cost savings efforts
- Handle special projects
- Perform other duties as assigned
An ideal candidate profile will include:
- At least 5 years of Accounting experience
- Financial Reporting / Preparing Financial Reports
- Advanced Excel skills
- A Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
Pluses:
- SAGE 100 experience
- Related experience from a product distributor
- Related experience from a construction products distributor
- Inventory Reconciliation experience
- Job Costing experience
