Jobleads-US is Hiring a Senior Account Director, Agency Near New York, NY

We’re hiring a Senior Account Director to join our growing Account Management division at EMARKETER, the leading provider of research focused on digital transformation.

As a Senior Account Director on the Agency Team, you will focus on ensuring customer success, retention and growth; while constantly looking for opportunities to broaden relationships within our largest and longest term holding company agency clients. This Senior Account Director will be responsible for leading a book worth approximately $2 Million, overseeing holding company relationships, while also managing and growing agency relationships and contracts within those holding companies.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is a creative, proactive problem solver with a dedication to client success, and a strong sales acumen. This person will have experience navigating and selling into complex organizational structures, and building relationships at C-Level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day to day relationships with portfolio of 30 clients and develop account specific and holding company specific strategies
  • Establish strong relationships with key client contacts; build advocates through value-driven conversations and solutions at every level of the holding company: agencies, geographies, practices, networks, and corporate
  • Maintain consistent level of client activity, specifically call volume and inbound/outbound to senior level client contacts
  • Establish a clear value proposition that demonstrates the impact of EMARKETER on a client’s business
  • Identify budget contributors and gain experience selling via a multi-threaded approach
  • Effectively negotiate contracts with a focus on retention and growth
  • Consultative selling, which meets the needs of our business and clients
  • Collaborate with Strategic Business Development Director on the Team to cross-sell and upsell new products, based on client needs
  • Add to strong team culture, focused on collaboration and driving success

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Full sales cycle Account Management experience working with a book of $1Million in ACV
  • Dedication to client success with a proven track record for establishing value propositions which align with client’s business needs and challenges
  • Ability to form multi-threaded relationships
  • Proven track record of quota attainment
  • Agency facing client experience, or agency experience preferred
  • Prior experience in research sales, B2B sales, and/or SaaS is preferred

Salary & Benefits:

  • Base salary: $115,000-$145,000 (dependent on skills & experience)
  • Additional competitive commission plan
