Job Description:

Our Senior Director of Product Management, P&L plays a pivotal leadership role, responsible for overseeing the financial performance of our products, including revenue, costs, and profitability. Responsibilities encompass strategic product decision-making, effective cost management, and revenue optimization – all aimed at ensuring product financial health and long-term success.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and execute end-to-end strategies for our products including identifying target customer segments, product portfolio strategies, and roadmap.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product strategies aligned with business goals. Identify growth opportunities and cost-saving measures.
  • Own and manage the financial performance of our product portfolio. Monitor revenue, costs, and margins to ensure profitability.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior to optimize pricing models. Balance revenue generation with customer value.
  • Develop and maintain product budgets. Track expenses, forecast revenue, and recommend adjustments as needed.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product profitability. Present regular reports to senior leadership.
  • Evaluate risks associated with product decisions. Mitigate financial risks and manage trade-offs in product investments.
  • Drive product investments and business cases. Collaborate with product teams on roadmaps and key market deliverables.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Computer Science or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in product management, finance, or related roles at a Senior Lead and/or Chief of Staff level, preferably in a fast-paced private equity and SaaS environment.
  • Proven track record of successful end-to-end SaaS product management in a global or mid-market focused B2B environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product development processes.
  • Strong technical acumen and knowledge of Microsoft technologies.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Strong proficiency in product profitability, analysis, and modeling.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • A strong presenter with ability to command an audience.
  • Strong managerial skills, including team development and leadership.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
