Jobleads-US is Hiring a Senior Product Manager, eBay for Charity Near San Jose, CA

At eBay, we're more than a global ecommerce leader — we’re changing the way the world shops and sells. Our platform empowers millions of buyers and sellers in more than 190 markets around the world. We’re committed to pushing boundaries and leaving our mark as we reinvent the future of ecommerce for enthusiasts.

Our customers are our compass, authenticity thrives, bold ideas are welcome, and everyone can bring their unique selves to work — every day. We're in this together, sustaining the future of our customers, our company, and our planet.

Join a team of passionate thinkers, innovators, and dreamers — and help us connect people and build communities to create economic opportunity for all.

About the role and the team:

The eBay for Charity program empowers our community to take action and support the causes they are passionate about when they buy and sell on eBay. Since 2003, our community has raised over $1.3B globally for the more than 225,000 enrolled charities on our platform.

In this role you will be challenged, make the world a better place and do cool things that matter. We’re looking for a passionate and creative individual who is excited to define and build the experiences which Charities and Fundraisers use to raise money on eBay. We are offering an opportunity to help evolve one of the largest fundraising platforms in the world.

You are someone that cares deeply about making a difference in the world. You care for people, animals, the planet, and empowering others to help make a positive impact on causes that matter to them. You are highly organized, proactive, and independent. Helping people and making things happen come second nature to you. You are phenomenal at resolving problems, anticipating needs, and communicating with professionalism, appreciation, and compassion.

As part of the eBay for Charity Product and Technology Team, you connect the world of nonprofits, eBay's technology systems, and eBay's business strategy. You will work with engineering, customer service, marketing, and finance. If you are excited about innovative product ideas and are passionate about social responsibility, then this might be the opportunity you are looking for.

What you will accomplish:

  • Support strategic vision, goals & roadmap for optimizing our customer experiences

  • Handle risk, drive business results, and deliver compelling features

  • Translate product strategy into clear and concise specifications, make functional and user interface design tradeoffs, handle product launches, and lead the product successes post-launch

  • Create a deep understanding of the different types of customers who use our fundraising products

  • Systematically analyze data and user experience to define friction points. Integrate findings from the generative research, surveys and CS feedback into our feature improvement roadmap to create user value

  • Support Product Operations by actively following up on bugs and improvement requests, with an aim to strengthen operations deliverables

  • Build trust and relationships with peers and provide leadership across the division, product, and/or partner ecosystem. Chip in and encourage a positive working environment despite constant change

  • Partner with a variety of cross-domain teams across the organization (Selling, Buying, Marketing, Communications, Payments etc) to help shape the vision and align plans

What you will bring:

  • 5 years of work experience in product management and/or UX design and/or strategy with a consistent record of successfully launching products

  • Track of record as a global product manager, designing, building and launching products that global customers love and have a real business impact

  • 2 years of experience working full time for a nonprofit, or equivalent volunteer experience, is a strong plus

  • You capably elicit high level requirements from both business and technical stakeholders, and can translate those into a detailed, prioritized backlog of work actionable by systems engineers and software developers

  • Strong interest and understanding in a marketplace business model. E-commerce experience is a plus

  • Excellent collaboration and interpersonal/organizational skills, with the ability to drive and implement ideas in a changing environment.
