- Assist the Controller in daily financial operations management.
- Prepare and review financial statements for accuracy and GAAP compliance.
- Aid in budgeting, forecasting, and report generation.
- Monitor financial performance, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Support closing processes and internal control development.
- Liaise with external auditors and resolve audit findings promptly.
- Supervise accounts payable tasks.
- Provide financial analysis for strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate across departments for timely financial information.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CMA preferred.
- Big Six audit experience is advantageous.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting or finance experience (healthcare experience is a plus).
- Strong GAAP and financial reporting knowledge.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to work independently and in a team.
- Experience with financial audits and compliance.
