Job DetailsAs the Permanent Director of Property Management, your key responsibilities will include
- Overseeing and managing all operational and financial aspects of property management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Developing and implementing property management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
- Managing the arboreal aspects of our properties, ensuring the health and vitality of our trees and green spaces.
- Conduct regular property inspections and audits to assess the condition of properties and identify any necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, tenants, and contractors to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Leading and managing a team of property management professionals, providing coaching and development to drive performance and productivity.
- Negotiating and managing contracts with vendors and service providers to ensure the best value for money.
- Managing risk and implementing strategies to mitigate potential property-related issues.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends and developments to ensure competitive positioning.
- A Bachelor's degree in Property Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in property management, with a specific focus on arboreal management.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of driving performance and productivity.
- Strong negotiation skills, with experience in contract management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, tenants, and contractors.
- A thorough understanding of property management legislation and standards.
- A proactive approach to risk management, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential property-related issues.
- A commitment to providing the highest level of customer service.
