We are on the hunt for a dynamic, energetic, and experienced Permanent Tax Sr. Manager to join our fast-paced finance industry team. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your tax expertise in a highly strategic role, where you will be responsible for managing diverse tax projects, ensuring tax compliance, and providing innovative tax planning and advisory services. You will play a crucial role in driving our business forward, maintaining client relationships, and fostering new business development opportunities.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Permanent Tax Sr. Manager, you will be tasked with an array of responsibilities that include but are not limited to
- Overseeing and managing all tax operations, ensuring adherence to tax compliance, and maintaining accuracy in tax returns.
- Providing strategic tax planning and advisory services, leveraging your knowledge of International Tax, Corporate Tax, and Tax Law.
- Leading business tax planning initiatives, identifying opportunities for tax optimization, and advising on tax implications of business decisions.
- Representing clients in tax disputes, leveraging your expertise and experience.
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for tax-related matters.
- Identifying and capitalizing on business development opportunities to drive growth.
- Training and supervising junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Keeping abreast of changes in tax regulations and legislation, ensuring the organization is always compliant.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax role within the finance industry.
- An active CPA license is mandatory.
- At least 2 years of experience representing clients in tax matters.
- Proven experience in Tax Accounting, Tax Law, Tax Preparation, Tax Compliance, Tax Planning, International Tax, Tax Advisory, Corporate Tax, Business Tax Planning, and Tax Returns.
- Demonstrated experience in business development and training.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience in a supervisory role.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex tax scenarios.
- Up-to-date knowledge of changes in tax regulations and legislation.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
