Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all highrise and commercial construction projects, particularly those valued at $80 million or more.
- Lead and direct the construction team, ensuring all members are aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement strategic construction plans to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure projects are executed efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct risk management assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with legal regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the CEO and Board of Directors on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within the construction or engineering industry.
- Proven experience overseeing highrise and commercial construction projects valued at $80 million or more.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and technologies.
- Excellent strategic planning and project management skills.
- Ability to make critical decisions under pressure and solve complex problems.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in Project Management (PMP) or Construction Management (CCM) would be an asset.
