Job DetailsJob Details We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and strategic leader to fill the role of Vice President of Construction for Highrise Projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of high-level construction projects, particularly those valued at $80 million or more. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The VP of Construction will play a pivotal role in the growth and development of our company, making this an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional who is passionate about construction and engineering. Responsibilities
Oversee and manage all highrise and commercial construction projects, particularly those valued at $80 million or more.
Lead and direct the construction team, ensuring all members are aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
Develop and implement strategic construction plans to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure projects are executed efficiently and effectively.
Conduct risk management assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure all construction activities comply with legal regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers.
Provide regular updates and reports to the CEO and Board of Directors on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within the construction or engineering industry.
Proven experience overseeing highrise and commercial construction projects valued at $80 million or more.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and technologies.
Excellent strategic planning and project management skills.
Ability to make critical decisions under pressure and solve complex problems.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Professional certifications in Project Management (PMP) or Construction Management (CCM) would be an asset.
