Salary $90,000 - $100,000 per year
A Bit About UsWe are working with a reputable Consumer Product Goods company who is seeking a Senior Accountant. This is an onsite position with one day remote work weekly. We look forward to the opportunity to work with the best Accountants in this local area.

Responsibilities
- Participate in the daily operations of the accounting department including month-end and year-end close process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity etc.
- Analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
- Follow proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
- Contribute in the completion of annual audits.
- Provide recommendations for improving systems and procedures.
- Meet financial accounting objectives.
- Maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
- Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
- Assist in internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
- Support month-end and year-end close process.
- Liaise with our Chief level executives as well as Senior Accounting and Finance Leaders to improve financial procedures where needed
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office (Excel), accounting software, and databases.
- Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- BS degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5 years of overall combined accounting experience.
- Advanced degree (Masters) in Accounting is a plus
- CPA or CMA preferred but not required
- High proficiency in using NetSuite software is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- A solid understanding of US GAAP
