We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-detailed Permanent Accountant to join our vibrant finance team. This role is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in finance and accounting, who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for crunching numbers, an eye for detail, and a strong understanding of financial and accounting principles. ResponsibilitiesAs a Permanent Accountant, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to
- Performing daily accounting tasks such as monthly financial reporting, general ledger entries, and record payments and adjustments.
- Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
- Assisting with annual audit preparations.
- Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
- Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
- Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned.
- Ensuring all financial operations are in compliance with legal and company regulations.
- Assisting in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts.
- Analyzing financial information to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional skills in Excel.
- Experience with accounting software and databases.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high levels of accuracy.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to communicate complex financial data in a clear and concise manner.
- A strong work ethic, with the ability to meet pressing deadlines.
- A proactive approach to work, with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
