Are you an experienced finance professional with a knack for meticulous organization and a keen eye for detail? If you're passionate about managing finances, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are currently on the hunt for a seasoned Accounts Receivable Associate to join our dynamic finance team. This permanent position will offer you a chance to utilize your skills in AR collections, AR aging reports, accounts receivable, cash applications, collections, reconciliation, and inventory management. You'll be part of a vibrant team, working in a fast-paced, challenging environment where your financial acumen and problem-solving skills will be appreciated and rewarded.
ResponsibilitiesAs an Accounts Receivable Associate, you will play a critical role in our financial operations. Your duties will include, but are not limited to
- Managing and overseeing all aspects of accounts receivable, including invoicing, cash applications, and collections.
- Preparing AR aging reports, analyzing data, and providing strategic recommendations to improve our collection efforts.
- Conducting regular reconciliation of accounts and promptly resolving any discrepancies.
- Coordinating with the sales and inventory teams to ensure accurate and timely billing.
- Streamlining processes and implementing best practices in accounts receivable management.
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer records.
- Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and staying updated on the latest industry trends.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related role.
- Proven experience with AR collections, AR aging reports, cash applications, collections, reconciliation, and inventory management.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
