If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a Permanent Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on local projects that will impact the community, providing affordable housing solutions.
ResponsibilitiesAs an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a vital role in our affordable housing projects. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to
- Assisting the Project Manager in all phases of project planning, execution, and closure.
- Coordinating with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure project goals are met.
- Monitoring project progress, identifying potential issues, and implementing solutions.
- Ensuring compliance with local and federal housing regulations.
- Participating in project meetings and presenting status updates to stakeholders.
- Managing project documentation and maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborating with the team to develop strategies for achieving project objectives and deliverables.
- Assisting in the preparation of project budgets and schedules.
- Ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, preferably within the construction industry.
- Proven experience in affordable housing development.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, means, and methods.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in project management software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of local and federal housing regulations is a plus.
