Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in all phases and aspects of the project.
- Ensure safety regulations are met at all times on the construction site.
- Review and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the project scope and objectives.
- Assist in managing and controlling project costs to ensure completion within budget.
- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes.
- Implement effective time management strategies to ensure project timelines are met.
- Regularly report on project status to the Project Manager and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to problem-solving initiatives and implement solutions to project challenges.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other project team members to ensure smooth project execution.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role such as Assistant Project Manager or Project Engineer within the construction industry.
- Demonstrated proficiency in time management, strategic planning, construction safety, blueprint reading, cost control, and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and the capacity to work well in a team.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and procedures.
- Proficiency in project management software tools.
- A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
