As our Associate Attorney specializing in Construction Labor Law, your primary responsibilities will include
- Handling a caseload involving construction labor law matters, including litigating cases from inception through trial.
- Advising clients on various aspects of construction labor law, such as workers' rights, safety regulations, contract negotiation, and dispute resolution.
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Representing clients in court, mediations, arbitrations, and administrative hearings.
- Conducting legal research and analysis to stay abreast of current trends and developments in construction labor law.
- Collaborating with our team of attorneys and legal professionals to develop case strategies and ensure effective client representation.
- A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the New York State Bar.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in litigation, specifically within construction labor law in NY.
- A comprehensive understanding of construction industry practices and labor laws.
- Proven experience in handling a diverse caseload and managing deadlines effectively.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to advocate effectively for our clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
