ResponsibilitiesAs an Associate Attorney in Estate Planning, you will be expected to perform the following duties
- Provide expert legal counsel to clients on all matters related to estate planning, including wills, trusts, probate, asset protection, and related tax issues.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of legal issues and case laws to prepare and draft comprehensive legal documents.
- Collaborate with clients to develop effective estate plans that meet their individual needs and goals.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry trends related to estate planning to ensure the firm's practices are compliant and current.
- Assist in the development and implementation of firm policies and procedures.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering exceptional service and ensuring their needs are met.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Oregon State Bar (OR Bar).
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Estate Planning or a closely related field.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in drafting and reviewing legal documents, with a keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
