Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Attorney. The ideal candidate will possess experience in handling litigation matters, with a preference for those with a background in either labor and employment or tort litigation.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel on municipal law issues to local governments and private clients.
- Handle and manage litigation cases, ensuring effective representation of clients in court.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy and provide sound legal advice.
- Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in the state of Illinois.
- Proven experience in litigation, with a preference for expertise in labor and employment or tort law.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
