We are seeking a talented and experienced CADD Design Engineer with proficiency in Civil 3D to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) and will be responsible for creating and modifying detailed drawings using Civil 3D software. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from conceptual design to final construction documentation. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for design, and a commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities:
1. Utilize Civil 3D software to create detailed engineering designs and plans.
2. Collaborate with project managers and design teams to understand project requirements and develop design solutions.
3. Prepare and revise drawings, plans, and other documents using CADD techniques.
4. Coordinate with other engineers and technicians to ensure design integrity and consistency.
5. Conduct quality control checks on design deliverables to ensure compliance with company standards and project requirements.
6. Incorporate changes into project documents and ensure accurate documentation of revisions.
7. Provide technical guidance and support to junior staff members.
8. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve design processes and techniques.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years' experience as a CADD Technician or in a similar role.
3. Proficiency in Civil 3D and other relevant CADD software.
4. Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, techniques, and standards.
5. Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in work output.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to resolve design issues.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex design ideas and concepts.
8. Ability to work effectively in a team, as well as independently with minimal supervision.
9. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
10. Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
