Job DetailsJob Details
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team. This is a permanent position, offering an exciting opportunity to manage and oversee a variety of construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet high quality standards. This position requires a strong understanding of the construction industry and a proven track record of successful project management.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Construction Project Manager, you will
  • Plan and oversee all aspects of the construction project from inception to completion.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists to create a comprehensive project plan.
  • Prepare budgets and cost estimates, and ensure the project is operating within the allocated budget.
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Meet contractual conditions of performance and deliverables.
  • Review and analyze the project in-depth to manage project risks.
  • Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
  • Manage the relationship with all stakeholders and ensure timely and clear communication.
  • Perform regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status and progress.
QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on project management.
  • A Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience overseeing a variety of construction projects from start to finish.
  • Strong knowledge of construction details, building systems, and procedures.
  • Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar.
  • Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals, etc.
  • Project management and supervision skills with the ability to lead a team.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a hands-on attitude.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of building and construction materials, processes, and equipment.
  • Familiarity with construction/ project management software.
  • A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
