The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing contractual agreements between our company and suppliers, ensuring optimal terms for both parties. This includes managing purchase orders, utilizing the Right Angle software, and working with SAP. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Contract Administrator to join our team in the Energy industry. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a keen eye for detail, and possesses excellent negotiation skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing contractual agreements between our company and suppliers, ensuring optimal terms for both parties. This includes managing purchase orders, utilizing the Right Angle software, and working with SAP. If you are a self-starter with a passion for the energy industry and a knack for contract administration, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
1. Review, negotiate, and manage contracts, ensuring they meet the company's needs and comply with all laws and regulations.
2. Prepare and revise contracts using Right Angle software and SAP.
3. Manage all purchase orders, ensuring they are processed in a timely and efficient manner.
4. Work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure contracts are fulfilled according to the terms and conditions.
5. Identify potential risks and issues within contracts and provide solutions to mitigate those risks.
6. Collaborate with legal department to ensure contracts are legally sound and protect the company's best interests.
7. Develop and implement contract management policies and procedures.
8. Maintain a contract database and ensure all contracts are updated and renewed as necessary.
9. Conduct regular contract audits to ensure compliance.
10. Facilitate contract closeouts, extensions, and renewals.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract administration or a related field, preferably in the energy industry.
3. Proficiency in Right Angle software and SAP is required.
4. Strong knowledge of contract law and procurement processes.
5. Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
6. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
8. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve contractual issues.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
11. Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) certification is a plus.
